Thank you for reading
As part of an ongoing effort to offer greater consistency and transparency across their full range of solutions, Microsoft have recently announced several pricing updates.
Microsoft 365 Copilot now offers more flexible pricing options
As of December 1st, 2024, all customers who purchase an annual subscription to any of the following solutions will have the option of paying on a monthly basis rather than upfront:
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales
Microsoft 365 Copilot for Service
Customers who continue to pay upfront will continue to enjoy the same rate, while opting for monthly billing will result in an increase of 5%. Both options will be available via Buy Online, CSP, and MCA-E.
Monthly billing gets simpler
As of April 1st, 2025, all newly purchased and renewing products eligible for monthly billing, will now have the same 5% increase, should customers select this option. Some of the products this change will apply to include:
Microsoft 365
Office 365
Enterprise Mobility + Security
Windows 365
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Services
Microsoft Power Platform
Various online services
Note that any products reaching the end of a trial period after this change will still default to annual billing, unless monthly billing is selected.
Updated pricing for Microsoft Teams Phone
From April 1st, 2025, pricing for the following products will be updated for both new and existing customers:
Microsoft Teams Phone Standard – $10 per user, per month
Power BI Pro – $14 per user, per month
Power BI Premium Per User – $24 per user, per month
Note that users who access Microsoft Teams Phone through Microsoft 365 E5 or Office 365 E5 subscriptions will not see any changes to their current pricing.
